Taiwan 500 Yuan Banknote, 2004, P-1996, UNC

The Taiwan 500 Yuan Banknote was issued by the Central Bank in 2004. It comes in a combination of dark brown, green, and purple. Its obverse features school baseball celebrations. The reverse depicts Mount Dabajian, a Formosan deer, and bamboo fronds. The note contains a holographic strip, a windowed security thread with a demetallized 500, and a watermark that reveals a bamboo and an electrotype 500. The banknote is 155 x 70 mm in size. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
