This uncirculated 1,000 Tanzanian shilling banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Tanzania in 2019. It is a blue banknote that bears the signatures of Finance Minister Hon. Dr. Phillipp I. N. Mpango and Bank Governor Professor Florens Luoga, and measures 125 mm x 65 mm. Its obverse side shows the national coat of arms, a portrait of the first president Julius Kambarage Nyerere, the Bismarck Rock in Mwanza Harbor, and a holographic patch. Its reverse side portrays a coffee plant and a view of the State House (Ikulu) building in Dar es Salaam.
