Tanzania 1,000 Shillings Banknote, 2015, P-41b, UNC

Part of the latest family of banknotes issued by the Bank of Tanzania, the blue 1,000 Tanzanian shilling note measures 125 mm long and 65 mm wide. Its front side features the first president of Tanzania, Julius Kambarage Nyerere and the Bismarck Rock in Mwanza Harbor. Its back side depicts the Ikulu (State House) building in Dar es Salaam and a coffee plant. The security features of the note are a security thread with demetalized BOT 2015, a watermark of Julius Nyerere, an electrotype watermark of 1000, and Cornerstones.
