This uncirculated 10 Tanzanian shilling note is a standard circulation note that is part of the first series of banknotes issued by the Benki Kuu Ya Tanzania (Bank of Tanzania) in 1978. It is a green note that measures 143 mm x 70 mm and bears the signatures of Finance Minister Cleopa D. Msuya and Bank Governor Charles Nyirabu. Its obverse side features the first president of Tanzania, Julius Kambarage Nyerere. Its reverse side shows the Uhura (Peace) Monument in Arusha, Mount Kilimanjaro, a torch, and a map of Tanzania.
