Tanzania 20 Shilingi Banknote, 1985 ND, P-9, UNC

The Tanzania 20 Shilingi Banknote was issued by the Bank of Tanzania in 1986. This purple banknote features the first president, Julius Kambarage Nyerere. It also displays the coat of arms of Tanzania. The reverse depicts workers and machines in a tire factory. Also on the reverse are a torch and a map of Tanzania without islands. The note contains a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals a giraffe’s head. It is 140 x 70 mm in size and is signed by Cleopa David Msuya and Charles Nyirabu. This banknote is in uncirculated condition.
