Tanzania 5,000 Shillings Banknote, 2015 ND, P-43b, UNC

The Tanzania 5,000 Shillings Banknote was issued by the Bank of Tanzania in 2015. This purple banknote features the Tanzanian coat of arms, a plant, and a black rhinoceros on its obverse. The reverse depicts mining machinery, rough and cut diamonds, and a diamond-shaped SPARK patch with a giraffe’s head. It contains a Motion windowed security thread and a watermark that reveals Julius Kambarage Nyerere with an electrotype 5,000. It is 135 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Benno Ndulu and Saada Mkuya Salum. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
