The Tatarstan 100 Ruble banknotes is part of the Currency Check issues introduced by the Tatarstan Government between 1991 and 1992. While the banknote was not considered a legal tender, it was given to low-income individuals to raise their way of living. Featured on the obverse of the banknote are the Tatar flag and the Suumbeky castle in Kazan. The banknotes reverse is blank.
