This uncirculated 1,000 Thai baht note is a commemorative banknote issued by the Government of Thailand to celebrate the sixth cycle birthday of King Bhumibol Adulyadej in 1999. It is a dark brown, orange, and violet-pink note that bear the signatures of Tarrin Nimmanahaeminda and Chatumonkol Sonakul, and measures 162 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side features the Royal Garuda emblem, the royal ceremonial emblem of the King’s sixth cycle birthday, and Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) wearing uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. Its reverse side shows Pasak Jolasid dam in Lopburi Province, Rama IX with SLR camera and folded map, and the Royal Garuda emblem.
