Thailand 1,000 Baht commemorative banknote from 1999 ND has a pick number P-104, is in uncirculated (UNC) condition, and features King Rama IX.


This uncirculated 1,000 Baht Thailand note is a commemorative banknote issued by the Government of Thailand to celebrate the King’s sixth cycle birthday celebration. It is a dark brown, orange, and violet-pink note that is dated 1999 ND, bears the signatures of Tarrin Nimmanahaeminda and Chatumonkol Sonakul, and measures 162 x 72 mm. Its obverse side features lotus flower as registration device, Royal Garuda emblem, royal ceremonial emblem of the King’s sixth cycle birthday, and Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) wearing uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. Its reverse side shows Pasak Jolasid dam in Lopburi Province, Rama IX with SLR camera and folded map, the Royal Garuda emblem, and a lotus flower. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized 1000 / BAHT and symbols, and a watermark of Rama IX and electrotype symbol “Phum Khow Bin”.
