The Thailand 1,000 Baht banknote was issued by the Government of Thailand in 2000 ND. It comes in a color combination of dark brown, orange, and violet pink. Its obverse features the Royal Garuda emblem, the royal seal, and King Rama IX Bhumibol Adulyadej  wearing the uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The back features the Pasak Jolasid dam in Lopburi Province, the Royal Garuda emblem, a dam, and Rama IX with an SLR camera and a folded map. The banknote is 162 x 72 mm in size and bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized 1000 / BAHT and symbols. It also has a watermark that shows Rama IX and an electrotype symbol Phum Khow Bin, and a registration in the form of a lotus flower. The banknote is in uncirculated condition.
