This uncirculated 1,000 Thai baht banknote is a standard circulation note introduced by the Government of Thailand in 2000. It is a dark brown, orange, and pink-violet banknote that bear the signatures of Tarrin Nimmanahaeminda and Chatu Mongol Sonakul, and measures 162 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side shows the Royal Garuda emblem, the royal seal, and King Rama IX in the uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. Its reverse side features the Pasak Jolasid Dam in Lopburi, the Royal Garuda emblem, and King Rama IX holding an SLR camera and a folded map. Security features include a windowed security thread and a watermark of King Rama IX and an electrotype symbol of the “Phum Khow Bin”.
