The Thailand 1,000 Baht Banknote was issued by the Bank of Thailand in 2000. It has a color combination of dark brown, orange, and violet pink. Its obverse side features the royal seal, the Royal Garuda emblem, and a portrait of Bhumibol Adulyadej in the uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. Its reverse side depicts the Jolasid Dam in Lopburi, the Royal Garuda emblem, and a picture of Rama IX holding a folded map and an SLR camera. Security features include a lotus flower registration device, a windowed security thread with demetalized 1000 BAHT and symbols, and a watermark of Rama IX with an electrotype Phum Khow Bin symbol. It is 162 mm x 72 mm in size and is signed by Somkid Jatusripitak and Pridiyathorn Devakula. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
