This uncirculated 1,000 Thai baht banknote is a standard circulation banknote from 2000 that bears the signatures of Somkid Jatusripitak and Pridiyathorn Devakula. It is a dark brown, orange, and violet-pink note that measures 162 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side features the royal seal, the Royal Garuda emblem, and a portrait of Bhumibol Adulyadej in the uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. Its reverse side depicts the Jolasid Dam in Lopburi, the Royal Garuda emblem, and a picture of Rama IX holding a folded map and an SLR camera. Security features include a lotus flower registration device, a windowed security thread with demetalized 1000 BAHT and symbols, and a watermark of Rama IX with an electrotype Phum Khow Bin symbol.
