This uncirculated 1,000 Thai baht note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Government of Thailand from 2005 to 2015. It is a dark brown, orange, and violet-pink note that bear the signatures of Sommai Phasee and Prasarn Trairatvorakul, and measures 162 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side features the Royal Garuda emblem, royal seal, Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) wearing uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and a lotus flower as a registration device. Its reverse side shows lotus flower, Pasak Jolasid dam in Lopburi Province, Rama IX with SLR camera and folded map, Royal Garuda emblem, and a holographic stripe. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetallized 1000 / BAHT and symbols, and a watermark of Rama IX with an electrotype symbol “Phum Khow Bin”.
