The Thailand 100 Baht Banknote was issued by the Government of Thailand between 1969 and 1978. Its obverse features the Royal Garuda Emblem, a kinnon which is a half-bird, half-man mythological creature, and a portrait of Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) wearing a full royal dress. The reverse depicts the temple of the Emerald Buddha in the Grand Palace in Bangkok. The banknote contains a solid red security thread with printed Thai text. It also has a watermark that reveals Rama IX. The red note is 150 x 78 mm in size and is signed by Suphat Suthatham and Snoh Unakul. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
