Thailand 100 Baht Banknote from 1978 ND with pick number P-89a.8 is in uncirculated (UNC) condition and features Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX). 


The Thailand 100 Baht Banknote was printed by the Bank of Thailand’s Note Printing Works and issued in 1978. The obverse of the red banknote depicts the Royal Garuda emblem and Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) wearing the uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The reverse of the note displays the statue of Somdet Phra Naresuan Maharaj, modeled from the monument at Don Chedi Suphan Buri Province, and also the Royal Garuda emblem. The paper bill contains a solid blue security thread with printed Thai text and a watermark that reveals Rama IX. The banknote measures 154 x 80 mm and carries the signatures of Pramual Sapavasu and Kumchorn Sathiraku. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
