Thailand 100 Baht Banknote, 2004, P-111a.2, UNC, Commemorative, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

This uncirculated 100 Thai baht banknote is a commemorative banknote issued by the Government of Thailand to commemorate the sixth cycle birthday (72nd birthday) of Queen Sirikit. It is a gold and blue banknote that is dated BE 2547 (2004), bear the signatures of Somkid Jatusripitak and Pridiyathorn Devakula, and measures 162 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse shows the king’s monogram, Bhumibol Adulyadej wearing a military uniform and the Chakri Dynasty royal robe, Queen Sirikit wearing a tiara, and the Royal Garuda emblem. Its reverse side depicts Queen Sirikit’s investiture ceremony, Queen Sirikit carrying Princess Ubol Ratana, SUPPORT products including a vase, a case, and a golden peacock, five elephants in a forest, a bouquet of roses, cattleyas, and dona flowers, the royal ceremonial emblem of the occasion, and a portrait of Queen Sirikit.
