This uncirculated 100 Thai baht banknote is a part of the commemorative series of banknotes introduced by the Government of Thailand to commemorate the life of Bhumibol Adulyadej in 2017. It is a red, orange, brown, and green banknote that is dated BE 2559 (2015), bears the signatures of Finance Minister Apisak Tantivorawong and Bank of Thailand Governor Veerathai Santiprabhob, is introduced in 2017, and measures 150 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side features the Royal Garuda emblem and a portrait of Rama IX, Bhumibol Adulyadej. Its reverse side shows the Royal Garuda emblem, a portrait of the royal family, and depictions of Adulyadej riding various transportation, squatting beside a car wheel, and consulting blueprints. Security features include a holographic stripe, a magenta-to-green windowed security thread with a demetalized 100 BAHT in both English and Thai text, and a watermark of Rama IX and electrotype text.
