The Thailand 16 Baht banknote is part of the 2007 issues. Each note measures 147 229 mm. The obverse side of the 1 Baht features a portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the Royal Garuda Emblem, and the Airapote elephant, Portrait of Their Majesties granting an audience to various groups of people who paid their tribute to His Majesty on the occasion on his coronation in 1950 at the Sutthaisawan Prasat Hall; the 5 Baht features a portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the Royal Garuda Emblem, and the Airapote elephant, Portrait of His Majesty in a royal procession by land, marking his 3rd Cycle Birthday Anniversary in 1963; and the 10 Baht features a portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the Royal Garuda Emblem, and the Airapote elephant, Portrait of His Majesty granting an audience to various groups of people who paid tribute to His Majesty on the Auspicious Occasion of the 60th Anniversary Celebrations of His Majesty's Accession to the Throne in 2006 at the Ananda Samakhom Throne Hall. The reverse side of the 1 Baht features a portrait of His Majesty's childhood, the portrait of Their Majesties King Rama VIII and King Rama IX on their return to Thailand in 1945, the portrait of His Majesty during his study in Switzerland, the Royal Emblem in Commemoration of the Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of the His Majesty the King's 80th Birthday Anniversary 5th December 2007, the Royal Garuda Emblem, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Grand Palace, and the Villa Vadhana in Switzerland.
