The Thailand 20 Baht banknote is part of the 2013-2016 issues. It measures 138 x 72 mm. The obverse side shows the Royal Garuda emblem and Rama IX in the Royal House of Chakri gown. The reverse side features the Royal Garuda emblem, the invention of Thai script, Ramkhamhaeng stele, Lai Sue, the statue of King Ramkhamhaeng the Great on the Manangkhasila Asana Throne, and the grievance hearing with the Bell of King Ramkhamhaeng and Sangkhalok Wares. This banknote uses a windowed security thread with demetalized 20 and shifts from red to purple and contains a watermark with a Rama IX and an electrotype symbol design.
