This uncirculated 5 Thai baht note is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Government of Thailand in 1969. It is a purple note that bears the signatures of Serm Vinitchaikun and Puey Ungphakorn, and measures 130 mm x 68 mm. Its obverse side shows the Royal Garuda emblem, a female Thepanom (a mythological angel who protected temples), and a portrait of Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX). Its reverse side depicts a view of Aphorn Phimok Prasat Pavilion of the Grand Palace in Bangkok. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of Rama IX.
