The Thailand 50 Baht banknote was issued by the Government of Thailand between 1985 and 1996 to commemorate the Bicentennial Celebration of Bangkok. The banknote comes in blue and has dimensions of 144 x 72 mm. Its obverse design displays the Royal Garuda emblem, Rama IX Bhumibol Adulyadej wearing a uniform, and the emblem of the Chakri Dynasty which depicts a chakra or a discus and a trisola or a trident. The banknotes reverse features the coat of arms and Rama VIIs signature, the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall within the Royal Dusit Palace, the Royal Garuda emblem, and a statue of Rama VII from the monument standing at the facade of the National Parliament building. The paper bill bears a solid purple security thread with printed Thai text and a watermark that reflects Rama IX. This TAP authenticated banknote is in uncirculated condition.
