Its obverse side shows the portrait of King Bhumibol the Great, also known as Rama IX, in a field marshals uniform. Its reverse side depicts Rama IV, the monarch who ushered in many scientific and technological advancements to Thailand, sitting with the Phra Pathom Chedi, a telescope, and a celestial globe. Because it is made of polymer, the note does not have a security thread. However, it has a Rama IX watermark. Its dimensions are 144 mm by 72 mm.
