Thailand 50 Baht polymer banknote from 1997 ND has a pick number P-102a.1, is in uncirculated (UNC) condition, and features King Rama IX.


This uncirculated 50 Baht Thailand polymer note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Government of Thailand. It is a blue note that is dated 1997 ND, bear the signatures of Amnuay Veeravan and Rerngchai Marakanond, and measures 144 x 72 mm. Its obverse side features Dok Loi symbol as registration device, the Royal Garuda emblem, emblem of Chakri Dynasty, depicting chakra (discus) and trisula (trident), and Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) wearing uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. Its reverse side shows a globe and telescope, table and seated Rama IV, Phra Pathom Chedi stupa in Nakhon Pathom, the Royal Garuda emblem, and a Dok Loi symbol. Though there is no security thread, there is still a watermark of Rama IX.
