This uncirculated 50 Thai baht banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Government of Thailand in 2004. It is a blue and pink banknote that bear the signatures of Thanong Bidaya and Pridiyathorn Devakula, and measures 144 mm by 72 mm. Its obverse side shows the portrait of Rama IX in a field marshal’s uniform. Its reverse side portrays a seated Rama IV, the monarch who ushered in many scientific and technological advancements to Thailand, with the Phra Pathom Chedi, a telescope, and a celestial globe. Security features include a solid security thread with demetalized 50 BAHT and a Rama IX and electrotype Dok Loi symbol watermark.
