This uncirculated 50 Thai baht banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Government of Thailand in 2011. It is a blue banknote that bear the signatures of Dr. Veerathai Santiprabhob and Apisak Tantivorawong and measures 144 mm long and 72 mm wide. Its obverse side features the portrait of Rama IX Bhumibol Adulyadej in the Royal House of Chakri gown. Its reverse side highlights King Naresuan, a portrayal of his victory against the Burmese, the statue of Somdet Phra Naresuan Maharaj in Buri Province, and a statue of a seated King Naresuan pouring water on the ground to symbolize Thailand’s declaration of independence. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized 50 BAHT in English and Thai, a watermark of Rama IX, and an electrotyped Thai watermark.
