This album contains a commemorative uncirculated 500 Thai baht note. The 500 Thai baht is issued by the Bank of Thailand to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the reign of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) in 1996. It is a green and gold polymer note that measures 171 mm x 91 mm and bears the signatures of Bordi Chunnanond and Rerngchai Marakanond. Its obverse side features the Royal Garuda emblem, the royal ceremonial emblem of the Golden Jubilee, a kinnon, a Rama IX hologram, and a portrait of a seated Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX). Its reverse side shows the Rama IX hologram, a dam, farmers in a field, and a different portrait of Bhumibol Adulyadej. Because it is a polymer note, it does not have a security thread. However, it has a shadow image of the Royal Garuda emblem.
