Thailand 500 Baht banknote from 2001 ND with a pick number P-107a.10 is in uncirculated (UNC) condition and features King Rama IX Bhumibol Adulyadej.


The Thailand 500 Baht banknote was released by the Government of Thailand in 2001. This purple banknote is 156 x 72 mm in size. Its obverse features the Royal Garuda emblem, the royal seal, and King Rama IX Bhumibol Adulyadej  wearing the uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The back of the paper bill depicts the Loha Prasat at the Ratchanaddaram Temple, the statue of the seated Rama II at the Maha Chestsadabodin Pavilion, a Chinese sailing ship, and the Royal Garuda emblem. The banknote bears a holographic stripe, a windowed security thread with a demetalized 500 BAHT and Thai text. It also carries a watermark that reflects Rama IX and an electrotype symbol Prajumyan, as well as a registration in the form of cotton rose petals. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
