This uncirculated 500 Baht Thailand note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Government of Thailand. It is a purple note that is dated 2001 ND, bear the signatures of Prasarn Trairatvorakul and Thirachai Phuvanatnaranubala, and measures 156 x 72 mm. Its obverse side features a Royal Garuda emblem, royal seal, Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) wearing uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and cotton rose petals as registration device. Its reverse side shows cotton rose petals, Loha Prasat (Metal Castle) at Ratchanaddaram Temple, a statue of seated Rama III at Maha Chestsadabodin Pavilion, a Chinese sailing ship, Royal Garuda emblem, and a holographic stripe. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized 500 BAHT and a watermark of Rama IX and electrotype symbol “Prajumyan”.
