This uncirculated 500 Thai baht banknote is a standard circulation note that is introduced by the Government of Thailand in 2013-2016 ND and signed by Mr. Apisak Tantivorawong and Dr. Veerathai Santiprabhob. It is a purple note that measures 155 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side shows the Royal Garuda emblem and a portrait of Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) in the Royal House of Chakri gown. Its reverse side shows the Royal Garuda emblem and the Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimonmungklaram, and a statue of the seated King Buddha Yod Fa Chulalok the Great, the first monarch of the Chakri dynasty. Security features include a holographic stripe, a 4-mm wide green-to-gold RollingStar Cube windowed security thread with a demetalized 500 baht, and a watermark of Rama IX with an electrotype text.
