Thailand 70 Baht Banknote from 2016 with pick number P-128 is in uncirculated (UNC) condition and features King Bhumibol Adulyadej. This commemorative banknote comes in a card holder.


The 2016 Thailand 70 Baht Banknote was a special issue in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s accession to the throne. The banknote is in a vertical orientation and is predominantly gold with hints of brown and red. The obverse side features King Bhumibol Adulyadej in full royal regalia which included the Most Illustrious Order of Chula Chom Klao breast chain, and right beside him, the Royal Garuda emblem as registration device. The reverse side shows the young King in full regalia holding the Sword of Victory, with the Phuttan Kanchanasinghat Throne in the background. The banknote is 89 x 162 mm in size and is signed by Apisak Tantivorawong and Veerathai Santiprabhob. This commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition and comes in a card holder.
