Thailand 70 Baht commemorative banknote from 2016, has a pick number of P-128, is in uncirculated (UNC) condition and features King Rama IX.


The 2016 Thailand 70 Baht Banknote was a special issue in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadejs accession to the throne. These vertical notes were packaged and sold with a pamphlet for 100 baht each. The obverse side features the King in full royal regalia which included the Most Illustrious Order of Chula Chom Klao breast chain, and right beside him, the Royal Garuda emblem as registration device. The reverse side shows the young King in full regalia holding the Sword of Victory, with the Phuttan Kanchanasinghat Throne in the background. The banknote is 89 x 162 mm in size and is predominantly gold with hints of brown and red.
