The Thailand 80 Baht banknote was issued by the Government of Thailand in 2012 to commemorate the queens 80th birthday. The banknote is 162 x 80 mm in size, representing 80 years of age. The obverse of the blue banknote features the Royal Garuda emblem, Bhumibol Adulyadej granting the title of Queen, Queen Sirikit rose and cattleya flowers, Rama IX in uniform and Queen Sirikit, and the royal crest commemorating the 80th birthday. The back of the banknote depicts the Royal Garuda emblem, Rama IX and Queen Sirikit with their children, a portrait of the young Sirikit wearing a necklace, Queen Sirikit kneeling, the royal crest, a bamboo, cattleya flowers, and Queen Sirikit giving plants. The banknote bears a windowed motion security thread with 80 and a rose. It also has a watermark that reflects the Queen and an electrotype crowned monogram. This Thailand 80 Baht banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
