This banknote set comes with 4 pieces of Thale 50 pfennig notgeld banknotes. These Thale 50 pfennig paper bills were issued in 1921 by the town of Thale in the Harz district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The obverse of these notes shares the same colors of brown, red, and black. They also have a similar design, featuring a coat of arms at the center flanked by silhouettes of two devils. A cat, a snake, two birds perched on a tree branch, a snake, and a frog are also visible. The reverse of these banknotes depicts sceneries and activities in the city in black and white colors. These emergency banknotes are 95 x 60 mm in size and are in uncirculated condition.
