This Thale am Harz 10 Pfennig Notgeld was issued in the Prussian province of Saxony as part of the 1921 emergency series. The front design depicts the coat of arms in the center with the denomination and German markings on the side. The reverse side of the note features a rocky landscape in the center along with a stylized figure of dwarfs and witches on the side. The note measures 80 x 53 mm has no security thread and no watermark.
