This Thale am Harz 50 Pfennig Notgeld is part of the emergency series that was issued in 1921. The obverse side of the note features the coat of arms in the center with a stylized figure of dwarfs and devils on the side along with bats and owls. German markings are also printed on the bottom front. The reverse side of the note features the Kloster Wendhusen in Thale, Germany. The note measures 95 x 60 mm, has no watermark and is without security thread.
