This banknote folder contains one uncirculated 100 Russian ruble banknote and a Certificate of Authenticity. The 100 Russian ruble banknote was issued by the Bank of Russia in 2014 to commemorate the Sochi Winter Olympics. These notes are of legal tender and circulate in parallel with existing 100-ruble notes. Both sides of the note are vertically oriented. Its obverse side depicts a snowboarder snowboarding in front of a snowy mountain, a holographic flame, and the Olympic venues in Sochi. Its reverse side features a bird in gold SPARK ink, the Fischt Stadium, and an underprint of athletes in action: skiers, ski jumpers, skaters, hockey players, curlers, and bobsled teams. Security features include a Vitrail security thread and a watermark of the Olympic rings and sochi ru 2014. Its dimensions are 150 mm by 65 mm.
