The Timor 100 Escudos Banknote was issued by the Banco Nacional Ultramarino (National Overseas Bank) in 1963. Its obverse side shows the Portuguese Empire coat of arms and a portrait of Regulo D. Aleixo (King Dom Aleixo Corte-Real). Its reverse side displays the BNU seal and the Portuguese Empire coat of arms. Security details include a solid security thread and a watermark of Dom Aleixo. The brown banknote is 160 mm x 80 mm in size and is signed by Francisco Jose Vieira Machado and Pedro de Mascarenhas Gaivao. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
