This uncirculated 100 Timor escudo banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Banco Nacional Ultramarino (National Overseas Bank). It is a brown banknote that is dated 25 April 1963, bears the signatures of Pedro de Mascarenhas Gaivao and Francisco Jose Vieira Machado, and measures 160 mm x 80 mm. Its obverse side shows the Portuguese Empire coat of arms and a portrait of Regulo D. Aleixo (King Dom Aleixo Corte-Real). Its reverse side displays the BNU seal and the Portuguese Empire coat of arms. Security details include a solid security thread and a watermark of Dom Aleixo.
