This used 20 Timorese escudo note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the National Overseas Bank. It is an olive green note that is dated 24 October 1967, bear the signatures of Francisco Jose Vieira Machado and Samuel Rodrigues Sanches, and measures 135 mm x 75 mm. Its obverse side features the Portuguese Empire coat of arms and a portrait of King Dom Aleixo Corte-Real (Regulo D. Aleixo). Its reverse side shows the BNU seal and the Portuguese Empire coat of arms. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of Dom Aleixo. Because it is a used banknote, it may have minor tearing, folding, and/or ink stains.
