The Tonga 2 Paanga banknote was issued by the National Reserve Bank of Tonga in 1995. The red banknote depicts King Taufaahau Tupou IV and the coat of arms of Tonga on the obverse. The reverse of the note displays a hut, palm trees, and four women making tapa cloth out of mulberry tree fibers. The 150 x 70 mm paper bill carries a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects King Taufaahau Pupou IV. This particular Tonga 1 Paanga banknote bears a radar serial number. It is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
