This 2 Tonga Pa’anga note was introduced by the National Reserve Bank of Tonga in 2008. It bears the signature of Prime Minister Siale Ataongo Kaho (Lord Tu’ivakano) and Finance Minister Sunia Manu Fili. It has a light red and orange color scheme and dimensions of 150 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side showcases King George Tupou V and the national arms. Its reverse side depicts children studying outside a school building, two men playing rugby, and a medallion. Security features of the note include a 1.4 mm wide windowed security thread with demetalized NRBT and a watermark of King George Tupou V with an electrotype NRBT and Cornerstones. This note is in uncirculated condition and its features have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
