The Tostedt 50 Pfennig Notgeld is part of the emergency series issued by the Municipality of Tostedt in the Prussian province of Hanover in 1921. Its obverse bears German markings along with a horse carriage, a tree, a train, and a railroad track. The back of the notgeld depicts a tree with two Jews hanging. It also displays a crow on each side and a seal depicting a skull and two men. The banknote does not contain a security thread, however, it has a watermark that reveals diamond stars. The banknote is 90 x 60 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
