This Trinidad & Tobago 1 Dollar Banknote is part of the 2006 issues of the Central Bank of Trinidad & Tobago bearing new security features. Its obverse features two scarlet ibis birds and the coat of arms of the country. The reverse of the note depicts the Eric Williams Financial Complex in Port of Spain and the Trigen nitrogen production plant located in Point Lisas. This paper bill carries a 1.2-mm wide windowed security thread with a demetallized CBTT1. It is also equipped with a watermark that shows a scarlet ibis bird, an electrotype TT1, and Cornerstones. This banknote measures 156 x 66 mm and comes in uncirculated condition.
