The Trinidad & Tobago 5 dollar banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Trinidad & Tobago in 2006 with new security features. The obverse of the note features a motmot bird on a tree branch and the coat of arms of Trinidad & Tobago. The back displays the Eric Williams Financial Complex in Port of Spain and three women with wicker baskets. The banknote bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBTT5. The 156 x 66 mm paper bill has a watermark that shows a motmot bird, an electrotype TT5, and Cornerstones. Additionally, it has a registration device in the form of a motmot bird. This Trinidad & Tobago 5 dollar banknote has been given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
