The Trinidad & Tobago 5 dollar banknote was released by the Central Bank of Trinidad & Tobago in 2006 bearing new security features. The banknotes obverse depicts a motmot bird on a tree branch and the national emblem. The reverse of the note displays the Eric Williams Financial Complex in Port of Spain. It also portrays three women with wicker baskets. The banknote carries a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBTT5. Additionally, the 156 x 66 mm paper bill has a watermark that reflects a motmot bird, an electrotype TT5, and Cornerstones. It also has a registration device in the form of a motmot bird. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 -70.
