The Tunisia 10 Dinar specimen banknote was released by the Central Bank of Tunisia in 1973. It comes in orange, purple, and green combinations and is 170 x 85 mm in size. The banknotes obverse features mine equipment and buildings. It also shows a portrait of Habib Bouguiba who served as the countrys president. The back of the note depicts columns, a drummer, a camel caravan, a mythical flying woman that has a body of a horse, a train, a tree, students reading books, a ship, palm trees, and drummers. Both obverse and reverse sides of the note have a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint and De La Rues oval overprints.The banknote bears a solid security thread with printed text in Arabic. It also has a watermark that reveals Habib Bourguiba. This specimen banknote has been given a grade of 63 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
