The Tunisia 10 Dinar banknote is part of the family of notes issued by the Central Bank of Tunisia in 1994 to commemorate the anniversary of the overthrow of President Habib Bourguiba. The banknote comes with blue, green, orange, and purple color combinations. The banknote depicts Islamic philosopher Adb-Alrahman Ibn Khaidoun and a street scene of his home on the obverse side. The reverse of the banknote displays an open book that shows the date 7 NOVEMBRE 1987 and OUVERTURE DEMOCRATIE ETAT de DROIT which means Beginning of Democracy and State Rights'' written in French and Arabic. The 145 x 73 mm paper bill bears a solid security thread with a demetalized 10 DINARS and a watermark that reflects Ibn Khaidoun.
