The Tunisia 50 Dinars is part of a banknote family that was issued after the expulsion of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali. The obverse of the banknote presents the Musee de la Monnaie or the Currency Museum building located in Tunis. At the center is a portrait of scholar Ibn Rachiq. On the reverse of the bill is the Place Gouvernement la Kasbah which is nestled in the central square in Tunis. This 158 x 79 mm paper currency has a holographic stripe. It also has a windowed security thread with a demetallized 50 DINARS BCT. Watermarked with an olive tree and an electrotype 50, the Tunisia 50 dinars bears the signatures of Saada and Nabli. Moreover, the banknote is graded PMG 68 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
