The Turkey 1,000 Lira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1986 under the 1970 law. The violet banknote features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk on its obverse. The reverse of the paper bill depicts a sailing ship in Constantinopole harbor and Fatih Sultan Mehmed (The Conqueror). The banknote’s security features include a solid security thread with printed TURKIYE CUMHURIYET MERKEZ BANKASI and a watermark that reveals Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. This particular banknote bears a Prefix H and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
